Sudden Closure

A California-based less-than-truckload carrier has ceased operations, leaving over 200 truck drivers, warehouse workers and office personnel without jobs or paychecks.

Sixty-one truck drivers unexpectedly lost their jobs Monday after Black Horse Carriers Inc. announced it was shuttering its terminal in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, because of a contract cancellation.
