Attendees at the MId-America Trucking Show each year love trucks, but the general public’s perception of the industry has not improved dramatically in the last five years.
The trucking group Trucking Moves America Forward (TMAF) has officially chosen a name for its mascot. And it, as announced by TMAF co-chairman Kevin Burch, went for a name that would reiterate the group’s main initiative – Safety Sammy.
And then there were five. Trucking Moves America Forward, in collaboration with Pilot Flying J, has narrowed the list of possible names for the industry’s new mascot to five. Voting is ongoing and the winning name will be announced at the Great American Trucking Show.
