Ellen Voie founded the Women In Trucking Association in 2007, and it has come a long way since. It now has a separate charity foundation, which provides students seeking transportation-related careers with scholarships.
Peterbilt Motor Company has pledged at least $25,000 in support of the Women in Trucking Association (WIT), becoming the organization’s newest gold member and expanding the existing partnership between the two.
