TAGG Logistics will consolidate its three sites around St. Louis next month by opening a 200,000-square-foot facility next to the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
The development will include multiple kitting and assembly lines, warehouse management and high-volume order-picking systems, and a bulk distribution space.
More than half of its business flow is international ocean activity, but officials have said it would like to move more into the air freight side of the healthcare industry.
TAGG currently focuses on clients selling healthcare and consumer products by catalog, online and via TV ads. It also distributes to retail outlets and adds services like re-packing and labeling.
TAGG’s Tod Yazdi said the development’s location in Free Trade Zone 102 will help grow the company’s business among high-end medical device clients.
“Our new facility will be one of the most advanced third-party logistics centers in the Midwest. It perfectly positions TAGG Logistics for growing healthcare companies and others that need to take logistics to the next level,” he said in a statement. “We strongly promote St. Louis and the Midwest as an ideal location for distribution.” – Jon Ross
