TEXAS-CUBA TRADE ALLIANCE TO HOLD MEETING MAY 14-15
The Texas-Cuba Trade Alliance will hold a meeting about how to do business in Cuba in Austin, Texas, on May 14-15.
The newly formed trade group serves as an “information hub” for Texas farmers, ranchers and food processors interested in exporting to Cuba. It’s estimated by the trade group that the Texan farm industry could earn as much as $57 million in food and agricultural exports to Cuba.
Members of the Texas-Cuba Trade Alliance include the Center for North American Studies, Port of Beaumont, Global Genetics and Biologicals, Coastal Rice and Futures, Texas Farm Bureau, Rice Belt Warehouse, Biehl & Co., U.S. Rice Producers, Port Freeport, Texas Rice Council and TriDimension Strategies.
