Thomas heads Saddle Creek’s business development

   Saddle Creek Logistics Services, a Lakeland, Fla.-based third party logistics provider, named James Thomas director of business development.
   Thomas will oversee development of Saddle Creek’s new customer relationships and help grow existing accounts. He will be based in Columbus, Ohio.
   Before joining Saddle Creek, he was founder, president, and chief executive officer of Commodity Logistics Inc.

Chris Gillis

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
