The merger of Dacotrans Sweden AB, GH Transport AB and Key Logistics AB into one single unit created a medium-sized freight forwarding and logistics business based in Gothenburg.
Swedish freight forwarders Dacotrans Sweden AB, GH Transport AB and Key Logistics AB merged into one single unit in order to strengthen operations and become more competitive, Key Logistics AB said.
A spokesperson for Key Logistics told American Shipper the merger took effect Jan. 1. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The merger created a medium-sized freight forwarding and logistics business, which operates from Gothenburg.
The three newly merged companies now trade as Key Logistics AB, the newly merged business is the Swedish network agent of the Famous Pacific Shipping Group, which consists of independent forwarders and non-vessel operating common carriers.
Prior to the merger, all three of these companies offered a range of freight forwarding services including air transport, less-than container load and full container load ocean transport, and project transport. These activities carried over to the newly merged company.
