TIBBETT & BRITTEN ACQUIRES CZECH LOGISTICS FIRM
Tibbett & Britten Group plc, the U.K.-based international logistics service provider, has acquired Logis International a.s., based in the Czech Republic, and Logis International s.r.o., based in Slovakia.
The terms of the takeover were not disclosed.
Logis provides logistics services in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, particularly to grocery, consumer goods and food processors businesses.
Services cover warehousing, chilled storage, distribution, customs clearance, export operations, bonded warehousing and added-value operations such as labelling and promotional packing.
Logis has a staff of 410 people.
Tibbett & Britten, which operates in 32 countries including North America, said that it is the world’s seventh largest logistics company.
