TIBBETT & BRITTEN WINS SAINSBURY WAREHOUSE CONTRACT
Tibbett & Britten Group plc, a global logistics provider based in the United Kingdom, has won a competitive bid to manage J. Sainsbury plc’s Hams Hall, a “fulfillment factory” 12 miles from the center of Birmingham. Sainsbury is a British retailer.
The new 700,000-square-foot warehouse will handle the storage, picking and dispatch of ambient and chilled food, drink, and fresh produce. T&B manages other centers for Sainsbury in Kent and Glasgow.
