The express delivery company introduced a new flight between its European air hub in Liege, Belgium and Tunis, Tunisia.
TNT Express announced a new service between Liege and Tunis that will operate five times a week via Marseilles utilizing a Boeing 737-400.
The flights will arrive in Tunis each weekday before the start of business to provide early arrivals for imports from Europe, and depart Tunis each weekday evening to provide late departures for exports to Europe, TNT said.
Tunisia does the majority of its trade with Europe, with its primary industries including clothing and textiles, automotive and aeronautics components, electrical and mechanical equipment and pharmaceuticals.
TNT has added Malta; Tel Aviv, Israel; Venice, Italy; and Hannover, Germany to its air network in recent months.
