Toshiba picks Panalpina for Moscow deliveries
Toshiba has selected Swiss-based freight forwarder Panalpina to handle its overland business from Regensburg, Germany, to Moscow.
The agreement covers international trucking and customs clearance as well as local cross-docking and distribution services. The initial freight volume will include 200 trucks from Toshiba's Regensburg warehouse with cross-docking activities for 11,000 pallets, including local distribution to more than 10 locations in Russia.
For the past three years, Panalpina has managed total warehouse operations and kitting and packing for Toshiba in Dubai to supply its customers in the Middle East and Africa.
