TQL expands in Cleveland

Freight broker Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is hiring for its new Cleveland office, expected to open in early November.
The addition of Cleveland will give TQL 16 satellite offices across North America. The company is privately held and based in Cincinnati. TQL is the third largest freight brokerage in the country with more than 2,000 employees and more than $1 billion in annual sales in 2012.
“The U.S. truck market is approximately a $350 billion industry,” said TQL Executive Vice President Kerry Byrne. “Our company is still in its early stages in terms of growth and market penetration.”
TQL’s Cleveland office expects to grow to 75 employees by 2015. “Our initial hiring need will be for entry-level sales professionals,” Byrne said.
