TRAC rolls out new chassis

TRAC Intermodal has introduced a premium 40-foot gooseneck marine chassis.
The container leasing company said its “TRAC TITAN” chassis are available for daily use to motor carriers in the Port of New York/New Jersey, Savannah and Charleston.
“We asked our motor carrier customers what was important to them, and one consistent response was that they wanted to have a choice of equipment types to match their work needs,” said Keith Lovetro, the chief executive officer of TRAC Intermodal. He said the company believes the new equipment “will also help improve driver productivity and service reliability.”
The company said each TRAC TITAN chassis will be given a pre-trip inspection and will be “green-tagged” prior to pick-up. They will also be equipped with radial tires, anti-lock brakes, a tire inflation system that regulates air pressure and keeps tires properly inflated at all times, LED lighting, and anti-corrosive paint
TRAC Intermodal is the largest provider of marine and domestic chassis in North America with over 300,000 units under management. TRAC Intermodal operates in over 545 marine locations, 154 domestic locations and 65 depot facilities.
