TRAC to open West Coast chassis pool
TRAC Intermodal said it will open a West Coast chassis pool in California on Dec. 1.
The West Coast Metro Pool will provide chassis on a short- and medium-term basis. It will operate out of TRAC Intermodal’s depots, operated by ConGlobal Industries, in Oakland and Los Angeles, with plans for additional locations in the near future.
The West Coast Metro Pool will be part of the recently launched
TRAC Connect product, a Web-based marketplace for marine chassis needs where motor carriers can enter into interchange agreements directly online.
TRAC Connect is available through the TRAC Metro Pool operating in New York-New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Mobile, Ala.
