TRADEPOINT SYSTEMS TRANSMITS SEDS VIA AESDIRECT
TradePoint Systems LLC, formerly ASA International, said it was the first company to successfully use the Customs Proprietary Format to send shippers' export declarations via EDI upload to AESDirect through the Internet.
AESDirect is the U.S. Census Bureau's free Web-based system for filing SEDs to the Automated Export System. The electronic alternative to paper SEDs can be used by exporters, forwarders or anyone responsible for export reporting.
