Traffic shift ahead for MiamiÆs 25th Street
The Florida Department of Transportation said Thursday that a new traffic shift and lane reduction for the ongoing Northwest 25th Street project would take effect Monday.
Traffic on Northwest 25th will shift to the south side of the roadway from just west of the Palmetto Expressway to Northwest 73rd Avenue.
From the Palmetto to Northwest 72nd there will be two lanes available both eastbound and westbound, but from 72nd to Northwest 67th Avenue there will be only one lane available in each direction.
There will be one turn lane available from 25th for each of the on ramps, northbound and southbound, onto the Palmetto.
Northwest 25th is one of the main arterials between Miami International Airport and the warehouse district west of the airport.
