TRANS-PACIFIC LINES ADDS KAOHSIUNG/U.S. WEST COAST LINKS
Trans-Pacific Lines said Tuesday it will add a direct fixed weekly service between Kaohsiung and the U.S. West Coast ports of Los Angeles and San Francisco to its U.S./Asia service, starting in July.
The service will provide a 13-day transit from Kaohsiung to Los Angeles and 15-day transit from Kaohsiung to San Francisco.
The service rotation is Busan, Manila, Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Since starting operations in April 1999, TPL has increased its fully cellular fleet to six 1,700-TEU vessels.
