Data from Globe Tracker-enabled intermodal assets will feed into TransVoyant’s predictive analytics platform to improve supply chain efficiency and visibility, mitigate risk, and give users the ability to better respond to service disruptions.
Global supply chain visibility company Globe Tracker International has partnered with TransVoyant, a provider of data that informs predictive analytics, the companies said Tuesday.
The partnership will allow TransVoyant’s Continuous Decision Intelligence Platform to be offered as a plug-in on Globe Tracker’s Smart Autonomous Asset Network. Utilizing data collected from Globe Tracker-enabled devices on intermodal assets, TransVoyant’s CDI Platform will offer GT’s customers predictive analytics intended to improve supply chain efficiency and visibility, mitigate risk, and empower proactive disruption response.
The tools could also be used to forecast the arrival of shipments via trucking, air and ocean freight modes.
“By integrating the data received from Globe Tracker devices and sensors into the CDI Platform, our live and predictive analytics engine will provide customers with a more proactive, leaner and efficient way to get in front of risks and opportunities in supply chains, which ultimately translates to a better bottom line,” said TransVoyant Manager Director Tyson Leal.
