Tropical Shipping cancels final 2005 Canada departure
In an effort to provide shippers with sufficient advanced notice, Tropical Shipping said it will cancel its final 2005 weekly sailing from Canada because of the holidays.
Tropical normally has a departure every Thursday from St. John, New Brunswick to the Caribbean. Its Canadian offices and receiving warehouses will be closed in observance of the holidays on Monday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Dec. 27. Due to the short holiday week, Tropical said it would cancel the Canadian sailing scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 29.
Tropical has Canadian receiving locations in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, and offers service from St. John to numerous Caribbean destinations
'We understand the challenges faced during the holiday season and we want to give all our customers ample time to plan (their) shipments,' Tropical said in a statement.
