Tropical Shipping opens Grenada facility
Tropical Shipping said Tuesday it has opened a new facility in Grenada in cooperation with local partner Geo. F. Huggins & Co. Grenada Ltd.
The company is operating out of the new business office at the new 10,000-square-foot facility in St. Georges, Grenada, and the less-than-containerload warehouse at the site is scheduled to open April 18.
Tropical said services at the new location include bill of lading collection, freight payment, on-site customs and excise agent providing customs processing and duty payment, LCL consolidation, LCL exports to U.S. destinations only, in-house brokerage, and destination delivery on request.
