Truck driver pleads guilty to paying bribes to haul military cargo

Former driver David R. Nelson admitted bribing employees at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ga.

While working for Louisville, Ky.-based trucking company, David R. Nelson paid more than $100,000 in bribes between 2006 and 2012 to Albany, Ga., traffic officials to transport freight from the base to destinations on the West Coast, the Justice Department said.
