Two dead in West Virginia cargo plane crash

A small aircraft owned by Air Cargo Carriers that was carrying UPS packages ran off the runway into a wooded area after its wing struck the ground, according to early press accounts of the incident.

The pilot and copilot of a small aircraft died Friday morning in a crash at Yeager Airport in Charleston, W.Va., according to multiple news outlets.
The freighter had arrived in Charleston at around 6:51 a.m. after departing from Louisville, Ky. earlier in the morning. Reports said that its wing had struck the ground and that the plane had gone off the runway into a wooded area.
The Associated Press said it was told by parcel carrier and third-party logistics provider UPS that the feeder aircraft was carrying UPS packages.
According to ABC News, the aircraft was a Short Brothers 330 model owned by Air Cargo Carriers.
