U-FREIGHT OBTAINS SECOND FORWARDING LICENSE IN CHINA

U-Freight’s Chinese joint venture, China Express International
Transportation, has secured a full, Class-1 forwarding license for its
recently opened terminal in Qingdao.
U-Freight/China Express operates as a satellite in Qingdao as a
satellite to its regional hub in Dalian. U-Freight was the first foreign
forwarder to obtain full Class-1 operating license in China several years ago.
Qingdao is a burgeoning manufacturing and business center in northern China.
U-Freight’s Qingdao office routes European air freight shipments via Tokyo and Beijing
while international sea freight shipments move via a daily shipping link with Pusan. North
American air freight is routed via Seoul and Tokyo.
