U.S./AUSTRALASIA AGREEMENT RAISES BUNKER CHARGE

   The U.S./Australasia Agreement, a group of direct U.S./Australia/New Zealand liner carriers, is raising bunker surcharges.

   Effective July 24, the revised bunker surcharge level from the U.S. to Australia and New Zealand will be 12.5 percent.

   The carriers of the agreement are Australia-New Zealand Direct Line, Columbus Line, CMA CGM, Contship Containerlines, P&O Nedlloyd and Wallenius Wilhelmsen
