UNITED PLANS TO REALIGN CARGO CUSTOMER CENTERS

   United Cargo said it is planning to realign its Cargo Customer Service Centers. The centers were aligned under United’s North America division, which put United squarely in charge of their own product delivery.

   United said the transition gives control of product delivery to United’s cargo division, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver fast and reliable service.

   “Taking responsibility for our warehouses is an outward indication that United is not only cognizant of the strong growth potential in the cargo industry, but willing to harness considerable resources to tap that potential,” said Roger A. Gibson, vice president of United Cargo.
