UP lifts westbound traffic embargo
Union Pacific Railroad lifted the embargo on all westbound traffic to the Los Angeles Basin Friday, according to statements released by “K” Line America Inc. and Maersk Sealand. The embargo and permit process will continue on all other eastbound intermodal traffic from the Los Angeles Basin, said “K” Line.
“Departure delays were minimal at ITS as on-dock trains departed near schedule this week. Traffic is moving steadily across the network and customer can expect good availability of their cargo,” said “K” Line in a statement.
