Parcel giant UPS introduced a free online tool Monday that allows e-commerce merchants to customize return shipments according to their own policies.
Dubbed “UPS Returns Manager,” the new tool allows UPS business customers to manage return shipments without having to integrate new technology into their own IT systems, UPS explained.
The tool allows UPS shippers to administer authorized return shipments, set their service level, request a reason for return, and see reports on their shipments.
UPS Returns Manager is available in 47 countries and territories for intra-country and intra-European Union package returns.
UPS said it “is the first logistics provider to offer the ability to create a return shipment through a tracking results page.”
