UPS LOGISTICS TO BUILD FORT WORTH FACILITY
UPS Logistics Group, the supply chain management subsidiary of
Atlanta-based United Parcel Service, said it will build a
320,000-square-foot distribution and technology center in the Alliance
development area of Forth Worth, Texas.
The new facility, scheduled for completion in the middle of next year,
will house a multi-user warehousing operation and UPS Logistics’ Latin
American headquarters.
UPS said the center will be designed to offer specialized warehousing,
cross-docking, kitting and product configuration, multi-modal
transportation management, a multilingual call center and dedicated
services for Mexico trade.
