When completed in the fall of 2019, capacity will increase by one-third to more than 80,000 packages processed per hour, the company said.
Changes at the facility site will also include a larger trailer staging area, as well as space for another 46 package car positions for its local area delivery operations.
According to UPS, more than 1,650 full and part-time UPS employees currently work at both the hub and its adjacent four package centers.
