The UPS Worldwide Express Freight service, designed for urgent, time-sensitive and high-value international heavyweight shipments, added eight new origin countries and five new destination countries to its network.

The new origin countries are Bulgaria, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Romania and Serbia, and the new destination countries are El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
The service, which is designed for urgent, time-sensitive and high-value international heavyweight shipments, is equipped to handle palletized shipments over 150 pounds; offers door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance; non door-to-door service options; and integrated shipment processing that provides the convenience of one account contact, account number, bill, and tracking system for packages and freight.
The UPS Worldwide Express Freight service previously expanded operations in January with the addition of 12 new origin countries and nine new destination countries.
The origin countries added at that time were Chile, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Turkey and Vietnam, and the added destination countries were Chile, Indonesia, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Vietnam.
The service is now offered to 58 origin and 56 destination countries and territories.
“Eastern Europe is experiencing growth in the manufacturing and automotive industries and Latin America is undergoing rapid expansion of general industrial, healthcare, apparel, and high tech businesses,” said UPS Vice President of International Marketing Nick Basford. “We expanded the number of countries we serve due to consumer requests and anticipated future demand.”
