US AIRWAYS SEEKS CARIBBEAN ROUTES, STARTS U.K. SERVICE
US Airways has filed with the Department of Transportation to serve four new routes to the Caribbean.
The Arlington, Va.-based carrier would like to provide daily service on proposed routes between New York’s LaGuardia and Nassau, Bahamas; Philadelphia and Aruba, Netherlands Antilles; and Philadelphia and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A service between Pittsburgh and Cancun, Mexico, would be served on Saturday only.
US Airways will also begin service between Philadelphia and Manchester, U.K. on May 25.
