VANGUARD AIRLINES TAPS BAX FOR LOGISTICS
Vanguard Airlines, a U.S. regional air carrier, has contracted with BAX Global to provide supply chain management services at the airlines’ warehouse operations in Kansas City.
BAX, the air freight and logistics division of The Pittston Co., said it will manage Vanguard’s supply flow, component repair cycle, warehousing and calibrated tools. BAX also will install a new maintenance and engineering software system by the end of the second quarter.
BAX is active in the aerospace field, also providing logistics services to Air New Zealand, Bombardier, British Airways and Saab Aircraft.
