Virgin Atlantic Cargo lands in Detroit

   Virgin Atlantic Cargo will add Detroit to its list of daily flights to and from London Heathrow Airport, effective June 1.
   Detroit marks the eleventh destination for the British airfreight carrier in the United States.
   Virgin Atlantic’s daily Airbus A330 flight will offer more than 16 tons of capacity in both directions and the airline expects customers in the United Kingdom, Europe, India and South Africa that already use its daily Chicago services to welcome a second destination into the U.S. Midwest air cargo market.
   The other U.S. destinations for the carrier include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Francisco and Washington.
