Volvo re-ups with CEVA for U.S. customs brokerage

North American subsidiary of the Swedish automaker awarded a two-year contract extension to CEVA Logistics for customs brokerage services.

Volvo Cars of North America, the U.S. subsidiary of the Swedish luxury automotive manufacturer, has awarded a two-year contract extension to CEVA Logistics for customs brokerage services.
The supply chain and logistics services provider has been providing customs services to Volvo for the past year on a trial contract. CEVA provides customs brokerage services to the Rockleigh, N.J.-based automaker from its Detroit offices.
“The decision to extend our contract with CEVA for customs brokerage services was straightforward, based upon the outstanding customer service and commitment we have received,” Jennifer Klees, customs manager at Volvo, said in a statement. “The team is dedicated not only to meeting KPI’s – which is important – but also to continuous improvement of processes and ways to work together more efficiently.  CEVA’s deep understanding of our business enables them to suggest and deliver improvements, large and small, that provide tangible value above and beyond what expectations.”
