Japan Airlines awarded a new cargo handling contract to Worldwide Flight Services, the world’s largest airfreight handler, at New York’s JFK International Airport.
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), the world’s largest cargo handler, was awarded a cargo handling contract by Japan Airlines at New York’s JFK International Airport, WFS said.
Under the contract, WFS is responsible for managing the airline’s twice-daily Boeing 777 and 787 services to Tokyo.
WFS anticipates it will handle over 15 million kilos of cargo a year for Japan Airlines.
Overall, WFS provides ground handling services to more than 300 airlines and has a presence at over 145 major airports.
