The independent common carrier commenced its Inter-Egypt Service this week and will launch its Egypt Izmir Service at the beginning of January.
X-Press Feeders, an independent common carrier that offers container feeder services throughout the world through its fleet of nearly 100 vessels, launched the Inter-Egypt Service (IEX), which operates within Egypt, and will launch the Egypt Izmir Service (EIX), which will operate between Egypt and Turkey, the carrier said.
The weekly IEX commenced with the Dec. 14 sailing of the 704-TEU X-Press Nile and covers Port Said, Alexandria and Damietta.
From the beginning of January, the weekly EIX will commence operations and will operate from Port Said East and Damietta to Izmir/Aliaga.
