The bulk of XPO Logistics, Inc.’s rebranding of its North American less-than-truckload business was completed in nine months, Tony Brooks, president of the LTL business for XPO Logistics, told American Shipper.

XPO Logistics, Inc. has completed the rebranding of its North American less-than-truckload (LTL) business, which the company acquired as part of its $3 billion purchase of Con-way Inc. in October 2015.
The rebranding involved nearly 300 facilities, approximately 8,000 tractors, over 25,000 freight trailers, and uniforms for more than 14,300 drivers and dockworkers, said Tony Brooks, president of the LTL business for XPO Logistics.
The rebranding aligns XPO’s LTL operations in North America with those in Europe, the company said.
Brooks told American Shipper the rebranding was fueled by the need for a consistent, common brand nationwide. The bulk of the rebranding was done in nine months, and it did not cause any disruption to service or customers, he said.
