Yang Ming is increasing its participation in a service between the United States, Caribbean, and east coast of South America.
The Taiwanese carrier will deploy one ship on what it calls the ANS route jointly operated with NYK, Evergreen and Hanjin.
Under this new service structure, Yang Ming’s status will move up from
a slot purchaser to that of a vessel provider.
The service employs six ships with capacities of about 2,100 TEUs. The port rotation on the service is Norfolk, New York, Savannah, Miami, Caucedo, Santos, Navegantes, Rio de Janeiro, Vitoria, Caucedo, and Norfolk. – Chris Dupin
