Global third-party provider Yusen Logistics has launched a new dedicated pharmaceutical cargo gateway in Frankfurt, Germany.
The new offering represents the official launch of the company’s international pharmaceutical airfreight services out of the country.
Yusen Logistics’ new gateway links German import/export consolidation center is linked with its European road network to create a multi-modal hub for its customers.
The “Pharmaceutical Superhighway,” as the company calls it, has already been contracted to carry over 2 million pallets this year via 50,000 delivery points and 20,000 deliveries per week.
Yusen Logistics launched two other strategic pharmaceutical warehouse projects in Benelux last month along the Pharmaceutical Superhighway – one in Belgium and one in the Netherlands.
