The third-party logistics provider opened a new warehouse outside Jakarta, Indonesia, which will provide storage and handling services, primarily for automotive parts and materials.
Yusen Logistics Solutions Indonesia opened a new warehouse in the MM2100 Industrial Town on Monday, Yusen said.
The MM2100 Industrial Town, which is a fully integrated industrial estate situated 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Jakarta, Indonesia’s central business district, encompasses over 170 manufacturing and supporting companies, according to the MM2100 Industrial Town website.
In addition to being strategically located near the major consumption area of Jakarta, the industrial estate is also in close proximity to the Port of Tanjung Priok and the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The third-party logistics company’s new 5,620-square-meter warehouse at the site provides storage and handling services, primarily for automotive parts and materials. Services offered at the warehouse include inventory management, distribution processing and cross-docking, as well as ‘milk-run’ and just-in-time delivery solutions, Yusen said.
Yusen Logistics Solutions Indonesia now operates four warehouses across the region, which provide a total of 41,000 square meters of space.
