The Israeli ocean carrier is adding a call to Limassol, Cyprus to its ADX service, which currently operates between Israel, Slovenia, Italy and Albania.
Ocean carrier ZIM is adding a call to Limassol, Cyprus to its intra-Mediterranean ADX service starting the first week of November, the carrier said in a statement.
The fixed-day, weekly loop will have a new rotation of Haifa, Israel; Ashdod, Israel; Koper, Slovenia; Venice, Italy; Ravenna, Italy; Durres, Albania; Limassol, Cyprus; and Haifa, Israel.
The ADX operates with two vessels, the Erkan K and the ECEM Kalkavan, according to ZIM’s online service schedules. Both of the 1,155-TEU containerships are registered in the Marshall Islands.
The loop’s new route features a five day transit time from Ravenna to Limassol, which is “specifically suited for refrigerated cargo,” according to ZIM.
“The new route also offers a direct one-day connection from Limassol to Haifa, and weekly calls from Limassol to the Adriatic ports of Venice, Ravenna and Koper,” ZIM said.
