LAN Airlines negotiating LAFSA purchase
Chilean LAN Airlines said that it has initiated negotiations to acquire Argentina state-owned LAFSA airline.
LAN said it will rebrand the airline to LAN Argentina and will operate domestic and international passenger, mail and cargo services. LAN said it will propose to the government the incorporation of all of the LAFSA employees.
The LAN Alliance includes LanChile, LanPeru and LanEcuador, and operates 54 passenger aircraft and seven dedicated freighters.
