APL launches another 5,040-TEU ship into Asia/U.S. East Coast trade
APL launched today the 5,040-TEU “APL Virginia” in Shanghai.
The “APL Virginia” was immediately deployed alongside its sister-ship, the “APL New York,” on the weekly all-water New York Express service between Asia and the U.S. East Coast. This is a joint service operated by New World Alliance members APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL. Evergreen Marine also takes space on the service.
