APL TO CHARTER FOUR 5,500-TEU SHIPS FOR ASIA/EUROPE SERVICE
APL said it will charter four 5,500-TEU containerships to be delivered next year.
The shipping line, owned by NOL, will use the vessels in the Asia/Europe trade, a spokesman for APL said.
The vessels, which are being built at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea, will be under charter for five years or longer.
