GLOBAL SWITCHES BRAZIL PORTS ON U.S. GULF/EAST COAST SOUTH AMERICA LINK
Global Transporte Oceanica, the Brazilian shipping line, is replacing calls at Rio de Janeiro with Sepetiba on its multipurpose U.S. Gulf-East Coast South America service. The service has a sailing frequency of 18 days.
The last call at Rio de Janeiro will be made by “Global Eagle” when it departs Sept. 20.
The service uses three multipurpose vessels capable of transporting general, container and rolling cargo.
The revised port rotation of the service is Veracruz, Mexico; Tampico, Mexico; Houston, Texas; Sepetiba; Santos; Buenos Aires; Itajai; Santos; Sepetiba; Puerto Cabello; Puerto Limon; Veracruz; Tampico and Houston.
