U.S. CUSTOMS SEIZES 6 TONS OF MARIJUANA AT U.S./MEXICO BORDER
The U.S. Customs Service last week seized more than six tons of marijuana in a tractor-trailer rig, the largest single drug bust at the El Paso, Texas border checkpoint in more than a decade, the agency said.
The drugs were found among a load of wooden pallets after the commercial vehicle was inspected using a gamma ray truck inspection system.
Authorities arrested two men in connection with the case.
