NYK Logistics (Americas) appoints Lucas president of transportation
Long Beach-based NYK Logistics (Americas) Inc., part of Japan’s NYK group of companies, has named John Lucas as president of its transportation division, effective April 1.
Lucas joins the company from Florida East Coast Railway where he served as vice president, intermodal. He has also held senior roles at BNSF Railroad.
He will be based in Jacksonville, Fla., and succeeds Lanny Vaughn, who is retiring but will stay on as a special advisor during the transition period.
