NYK SETS UP LOGISTICS SUBSIDIARY IN SPAIN
Japan’s Nippon Yusen Kaisha group has established a logistics subsidiary in Barcelona, Spain.
New Wave Logistics (Iberica) S.A. will provide customers with a variety of logistics services and is expected to be a core for NYK’s logistics business activities in Europe, the Japanese group said.
New Wave Logistics (Iberica) has a share capital of 14 million pesetas (about $83,000).
NYK has set up logistics businesses under the name “New Wave Logistics” in 19 countries around the world.
In Europe, New Wave Logistics businesses are located in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Hungary, Sweden and Spain.
