UPS LOGISTICS BUYS POLYSYS ASSETS
The UPS Logistics Group, based in Atlanta, has acquired the assets of Polysys Electronic Systems A.G., a logistics company based in Bachenbulach, Swizterland.
Polysys is a third-party logistics provider for technology, telecommunications and pharmaceutical markets. Its services include order and warehouse management, transport management services, after-sales support and spare parts repair.
“Our clients needed access to a global infrastructure,” said Ernst Mathieu, previously director of Polysys and now director of UPS Logistics Group in Switzerland.
Last year, UPS Logistics acquired Finon Sofecome, a French provider of service parts logistics.
