Hyundai increases frequency of European intermodal service
Hyundai Merchant Marine has increased the frequency of its Express Block Train Service between Rotterdam and Slovakia from once to twice a week.
The Korean carrier started the service in September 2005. It moves components from Rotterdam to Samsung Electronics’ factory in Slovakia returning with finished electronic products.
Hyundai said it is looking at establishing a service next year to connect Egypt and Italy by feeder ships for customers in the Mediterranean region.
